This optional key name specifies the number of record channels that the server should employ. Valid values are numbers in the range [16 to 16383] and it has a default value of 1024.

An appropriate value for RecordChannelNumber can be determined by examining the statistics on JDisplay. The screen shows the highest usage since the Equinox server was started (it is reset each time the application is unloaded).

You should try and maintain RecordChannelNumber so that its value is about 10% above the highest recorded usage.
